Handcrafted from the original pages of a 2008 UBD Sydney Street Directory, this wallet features the iconic neighbourhoods of Central Station, Haymarket, Surry Hills, Hyde Park and Darling Harbour. Each page has been carefully covered in clear PVC and stitched together to protect the paper, creating a wallet that's as durable as it is distinctive.

The interior is lined with an index page from the same directory, so even the inside has a story to tell.

I love to collect vintage and retro books, magazines and other special documents such as sheet music and street directories to create a unique collection of wallets.

When designing a wallet, I select and cut out the pages (one for the outside and one for the lining) and cover them with clear PVC to have a waterproof protection.

From there I carefully stitch together the pages and fold them over to create your wallet, adding a Lyssy May label in the process to ensure its handmade story is shared.
