This handcrafted slimline wallet gives original UBD street directory pages a new life, tracing the southern Gold Coast across the Queensland–New South Wales border into the Tweed region. Blue coastal waters, winding rivers and green national park markings bring familiar places into your everyday adventures.

Open the wallet to discover Burleigh Heads, Currumbin, Coolangatta and Tweed Heads, with the state border and Gold Coast Airport shown on the map. The fold-over flap travels further south to Mooball, Burringbar, Pottsville and Mooball National Park. On the back, explore Murwillumbah, the Tweed River, Kingscliff and Cudgen Nature Reserve.

The original paper pages are covered in clear PVC, folded and machine sewn to protect the paper. A street directory index page lines the inside, giving you another little detail to explore. Please note: the index page lining and any advertisements shown may vary between individual wallets.

No two designs are the same!

I love to collect vintage and retro books, magazines and other special documents such as sheet music and street directories to create a unique collection of wallets.

When designing a wallet, I select and cut out the pages (one for the outside and one for the lining) and cover them with clear PVC to have a waterproof protection.

From there I carefully stitch together the pages and fold them over to create your wallet, adding a Lyssy May label in the process to ensure its handmade story is shared.
