Description
A handmade design created for music and vintage lovers alike!
This wallet is made from an original page of sheet music from the 1940s 'Chappell & Co' Dance Album No 154 and features the music entitled 'Chorus of Students' by Ivan Caryll with additional music on the back for *'A Glass of Beer' by Lionel Monkton. It has been lined with a vintage inspired floral paper featuring a blue and white lace geometric pattern.
The pages have been covered with clear pvc to protect the paper and stitched together to create a true limited edition and collectable!
The Lyssy May slimline wallet is a great little accessory to use for travel documents, face masks, blister pack medications, or anything else you'd like to keep protected.
The size of the wallet is approximately 18 cm wide by 9.5 cm high. It closes with magnetic clasps.
Ultimately the paper will crease a little with wear, adding to its life story.
Designed and sewn in Queensland, Australia.
*This music was part of the Edwardian musical comedy The New Aladdin, which premiered in London at the Gaiety Theatre on September 29, 1906.

No two designs are the same!
I love to collect vintage and retro books, magazines and other special documents such as sheet music and street directories to create a unique collection of wallets.
When designing a wallet, I select and cut out the pages (one for the outside and one for the lining) and cover them with clear PVC to have a waterproof protection.
From there I carefully stitch together the pages to create your wallet, adding a Lyssy May label in the process to ensure its handmade story is shared.
