This handcrafted slimline wallet is made from the original pages of a Brisbane and Greater Region UBD street directory from the 2000s. The pages have been covered in clear PVC, folded and machine sewn to protect the paper. A true limited edition collectable.

This wallet features the beautiful Moreton Bay coastline suburbs across both sides — the flap shows Bracken Ridge 4017 and Sandgate 4017 including Third Lagoon Reserve, Bracken Ridge High, Nashvale Primary, and the Moreton Bay foreshore. The body shows the Sandgate 4017 coastline with Tinchi Tamba Wetlands Reserve and Moreton Bay. The back shows Brighton 4017 and North Brighton including Tinchi Tamba Wetlands Reserve, Bramble Bay, Evenside, Wyampa Rd, and St Kwang Catholic Primary.

No two designs are the same!

I love to collect vintage and retro books, magazines and other special documents such as sheet music and street directories to create a unique collection of wallets.

When designing a wallet, I select and cut out the pages (one for the outside and one for the lining) and cover them with clear PVC to have a waterproof protection.

From there I carefully stitch together the pages and fold them over to create your wallet, adding a Lyssy May label in the process to ensure its handmade story is shared.
