Carry a little piece of Brisbane wherever you go. This one-of-a-kind wallet is handcrafted from the original pages of a vintage Brisbane UBD street directory. It has been covered in clear PVC, folded and machine stitched to keep the paper protected.

The front features the inner-east Brisbane suburbs of Cannon Hill, Carina, Murarrie, Seven Hills and Morningside, while the lining is made from an index page of the same directory (note: the exact index page may vary slightly from the image shown).

No two designs are the same!

I love to collect vintage and retro books, magazines and other special documents such as sheet music and street directories to create a unique collection of wallets.

When designing a wallet, I select and cut out the pages (one for the outside and one for the lining) and cover them with clear PVC to have a waterproof protection.

From there I carefully stitch together the pages and fold them over to create your wallet, adding a Lyssy May label in the process to ensure its handmade story is shared.
