Before GPS, there was the BP Explore Australia: The Complete Touring Companion — and this wallet is made from one.

Handcrafted from the original pages of a 1990s edition, this wallet features a detailed road map of South Western Western Australia, taking in Geraldton, Perth, Bunbury, and Albany. The interior is lined with a page celebrating Western Wildflowers — a nod to one of Australia's most beloved natural spectacles.

Each wallet is one-of-a-kind. The pages have been carefully covered in clear PVC and stitched together for durability, while still letting the original print shine through.

I love to collect vintage and retro books, magazines and other special documents such as sheet music and street directories to create a unique collection of wallets.

When designing a wallet, I select and cut out the pages (one for the outside and one for the lining) and cover them with clear PVC to have a waterproof protection.

From there I carefully stitch together the pages and fold them over to create your wallet, adding a Lyssy May label in the process to ensure its handmade story is shared.
