This handcrafted slimline wallet is made from the original pages of a Victorian road atlas. The pages have been covered in clear PVC, folded and stitched by hand to protect the paper. A true limited edition collectable.

This wallet features Central Northern Victoria (map 759) across both sides - the flap shows the Murray River region including Echuca, Numurkah, Cobram, Yarrawonga, Kerang, Cohuna, Pyramid Hill, Nathalia, and Tocumwal. The body shows Central Victoria including Bendigo, Castlemaine, Seymour, Shepparton, Mooroopna, Tatura, Nagambie, Murchison, Rushworth, Euroa, Yea, Broadford, and Heathcote. The inside is lined with the “Index to Victorian Towns”, listing towns from S to W including St Albans, Sunbury, Swan Hill, Timboon, Walwa, and Wongarra.

No two designs are the same!

I love to collect vintage and retro books, magazines and other special documents such as sheet music and street directories to create a unique collection of wallets.

When designing a wallet, I select and cut out the pages (one for the outside and one for the lining) and cover them with clear PVC to have a waterproof protection.

From there I carefully stitch together the pages and fold them over to create your wallet, adding a Lyssy May label in the process to ensure its handmade story is shared.
