Charlotte in Green Floral Mini Fabric Bag + Matching Zip Purse

A super sweet, petite and classic style, Charlotte with her Calendula floral design will be a special addition to any wardrobe. 

The cotton fabric was sourced on a trip to Paris and features white wooden beaded handles on a nickel base frame. The floral pattern features gorgeous shades of minty greens, grey and peachy pink. The fabric is 100% Oeko-Tex® cotton*.

It has been fully lined with white handkerchief linen and comes with a matching zip purse.

Bag Size: 20 cm wide x 14.5 cm high  x 4 cm deep 

Handles:  Horse shoe shape 8cm across and 11 cm down and can be worn held beside the body on the elbow (or children can wear on the shoulder). White wooden beads have been threaded on nickel frame.

Features: Matching zip purse | magnetic clasps as closure 

The design has been treated with non toxic fabric protector.

Fabric bags are fabulously lightweight and as a popular accessory there may be a time to give your design a freshen up. Many of our customers have been using their Lyssy May bag for years!

• Any small marks that your bag may receive can be spot removed with a damp cloth. I have found the most effective method is to use an alcohol wipe, such as a baby wipe.
  
• A separate cool hand wash in a mild detergent is all your bag needs to spring back into action.
  
• Lie flat in the shade to dry.
  
• Avoiding any embellishments, a warm iron is best to keep the design in shape. 
  
• If you are unsure about any of the care instructions, please email me with any of your questions and I'll more than happy to help.

After spending time choosing how the fabric will best suit a style (sometimes this can take quite a few hours of contemplation!) the Lyssy May handmade creation process kicks in -

• choose a pattern from my paper pattern library
• carefully cut out the fabric, linings, pockets, handles and interlining
• press all of the above pieces ready with their seams etc ready to sew
• match the sewing threads, wind the bobbins
• thread my machine and start with sewing on my Lyssy May label
• many trips between the machine and the iron during the making process
• add fasteners and top stitch bag
• press bag into shape
• treat with fabric protector and dry in the shade
• photograph, write a description and add it to the website for you to browse and after many hours of time, effort and love being woven into a design....voila here were are!

Please note that pattern placement will vary according to the way in which the fabric has been hand cut and may be slightly different to the image shown.
