Where are you heading? This handmade wallet is crafted from the original pages of the 1995 BP Explore Australia: The Complete Touring Companion - a classic from the era before GPS and smartphones.

This wallet features a sweeping road map of Central Western Australia, spanning the wild mid-west coast and outback interior.

The front showcases Kalbarri, Zuytdorp National Park, the Nicholson Range, and Mount Magnet. The back reveals the iconic Shark Bay World Heritage Area, Monkey Mia, Denham, Carnarvon, Lake Macleod, Gascoyne Junction, and Mt Augustus National Park. Open it up and you'll find the inner pocket features Exmouth, Cape Range National Park, Exmouth Gulf, Dampier, Karratha, Pannawonica, and the Pilbara.

No two designs are the same!

I love to collect vintage and retro books, magazines and other special documents such as sheet music and street directories to create a unique collection of wallets.

When designing a wallet, I select and cut out the pages (one for the outside and one for the lining) and cover them with clear PVC to have a waterproof protection.

From there I carefully stitch together the pages and fold them over to create your wallet, adding a Lyssy May label in the process to ensure its handmade story is shared.
