From the Gulf St Vincent coastline to the northern suburbs, this slimline wallet is made from pages of an Australian Road Atlas published by Penguin Books in 1995, featuring the Adelaide Northern Coastline Suburbs.

Areas covered include Semaphore Park, West Lakes Shore, Queenstown, Cheltenham, Woodville, Ferryden Park, and Croydon Park on the front, and the coastal peninsula of Outer Harbour, North Haven, Osborne, Taperoo, and Largs North on the back.

The inside is lined with an Australian town index page from the same atlas, listing Australian towns.

Creative Process

No two designs are the same!

I love to collect vintage and retro books, magazines and other special documents such as sheet music and street directories to create a unique collection of wallets.

When designing a wallet, I select and cut out the pages (one for the outside and one for the lining) and cover them with clear PVC to have a waterproof protection.

From there I carefully stitch together the pages and fold them over to create your wallet, adding a Lyssy May label in the process to ensure its handmade story is shared.

I love these wallets as a unique and creative gift. It's recycling while still keeping the nostalgia going of the the old refidex. Alyssa was happy to do a custom order and turn around was quick. I like supporting handmade and people's creativity.
