Recycled Map Wallet - WA - Central West

Where are you heading? This handmade wallet is made from the original pages of a 2008 Gregory 4WD Touring Australia Directory.  A true limited edition and collectable from before the days of GPS and smart phones dominated navigation!

This wallet features a road map of Central-West Western Australia and the Indian Ocean coastline. It includes Perth, Geraldton, Monkey Mia, Mt Magnet and Gascoyne Junction.  This special wallet is lined with a page titled 'National Parks and Reserves, Western Australia'.

The wallet is a great little accessory to use for cash, travel documents, face masks, some smart phones or anything else you'd like to keep protected. It will be the perfect gift for someone who loves something unique or would love a reminder of their hometown or a favourite place to visit.

The size of the wallet is approximately 18.5 cm wide by 10.0 cm high. It closes with a magnetic clip.

Designed and sewn in Queensland, Australia.

Ultimately the paper will crease a little with wear, adding to its life story.

I love to collect vintage and retro books, magazines and other special documents such as sheet music and street directories to create a unique collection of wallets.

When designing a wallet, I select and cut out the pages (one for the outside and one for the lining) and cover them with clear PVC to have a waterproof protection.

From there I carefully stitch together the pages and fold them over to create your wallet, adding a Lyssy May label in the process to ensure its handmade story is shared.
