Recycled Street Map Wallet - North Eastern New South Wales

Made from the original pages of a 1998 New South Wales Cities and Towns street directory, this wallet is a true limited edition collectable. Each page has been covered in clear PVC, then folded and stitched to form a pouch wallet. No two are exactly alike.

Front and back feature North Eastern New South Wales - spanning the Mid-North Coast up through the Northern Rivers to the Queensland border. Key locations include Port Macquarie, Kempsey, South West Rocks, Hat Head National Park, Coffs Harbour, Grafton, Armidale, Dorrigo, Bellingen, Yamba, Maclean, Lismore, Casino, Byron Bay, Ballina, Lennox Head, Brunswick Heads, Murwillumbah, Tweed Heads and Coolangatta. The interior is lined with a Ballina street index page.

No two designs are the same!

I love to collect vintage and retro books, magazines and other special documents such as sheet music and street directories to create a unique collection of wallets.

When designing a wallet, I select and cut out the pages (one for the outside and one for the lining) and cover them with clear PVC to have a waterproof protection.

From there I carefully stitch together the pages and fold them over to create your wallet, adding a Lyssy May label in the process to ensure its handmade story is shared.
