Where are you headed?

This handcrafted slimline wallet is made from the original pages of a Brisbane and Greater Region UBD street directory published between 2000 and 2009. The pages have been covered in clear PVC, folded and machine sewn to protect the paper. A true limited edition collectable.

This wallet features the northern Brisbane suburbs across both sides — the flap shows Brendale 4500 and Strathpine with the Pine Rivers area. The body shows Petrie 4502 and Lawnton with the Pine River, Murrumba, and Mary Bray Park. The back shows Bray Park 4500 including the Les Hughes Sporting Complex, PCYC, Danarra Christian College, Pine Rivers High, and Strathpine Primary. The inside is lined with an index page (note that indexes and advertisements may vary from shown depending on which edition I use).

No two designs are the same!

I love to collect vintage and retro books, magazines and other special documents such as sheet music and street directories to create a unique collection of wallets.

When designing a wallet, I select and cut out the pages (one for the outside and one for the lining) and cover them with clear PVC to have a waterproof protection.

From there I carefully stitch together the pages and fold them over to create your wallet, adding a Lyssy May label in the process to ensure its handmade story is shared.
