Description
A handmade design created for music and vintage lovers alike!
This wallet is made from an original page of sheet music from the 1940s 'Chappell & Co' Dance Album No 154 and features the music entitled *'Sometimes' by Paul A. Rubens with additional music on the back for 'Opening Chorus-Act 1' by Howard Talbot. It has been lined with a vintage inspired paper in red, white and plum blossoms on a grid background.
The pages have been covered with clear pvc to protect the paper and stitched together to create a true limited edition and collectable!
The Lyssy May slimline wallet is a great little accessory to use for travel documents, face masks, blister pack medications, or anything else you'd like to keep protected.
The size of the wallet is approximately 18 cm wide by 9.5 cm high. It closes with magnetic clasps.
Ultimately the paper will crease a little with wear, adding to its life story.
Designed and sewn in Queensland, Australia.
*This music is from a musical called 'The Blue Moon'. The musical was composed collaboratively by Howard Talbot and Paul Rubens, with Talbot often credited with the more substantial ensembles and Rubens contributing catchier songs. It premiered in London at the Lyric Theatre on August 28, 1905.

No two designs are the same!
I love to collect vintage and retro books, magazines and other special documents such as sheet music and street directories to create a unique collection of wallets.
When designing a wallet, I select and cut out the pages (one for the outside and one for the lining) and cover them with clear PVC to have a waterproof protection.
From there I carefully stitch together the pages to create your wallet, adding a Lyssy May label in the process to ensure its handmade story is shared.
