This wallet is created from a page from a piano lesson book and features two pieces — "Spring Song" (attributed to composer Hiller) and "Evening Song" (noted as a folk tune). The songs carry the note to 'be sure to practice each hand separately first. It is time saved in the end...'.

Lined with a sample piece of beautifully textured floral wallpaper in cream and soft greens and greys.

I love to collect vintage and retro books, magazines and other special documents such as sheet music and street directories to create a unique collection of wallets.

When designing a wallet, I select and cut out the pages (one for the outside and one for the lining) and cover them with clear PVC to have a waterproof protection.

From there I carefully stitch together the pages and fold them over to create your wallet, adding a Lyssy May label in the process to ensure its handmade story is shared.
